Konnichiwa

Okay...so is it just me or are cartoons not what they used to be. I have a four year old daughter, who loves to watch cartoons. And most of them I even watch with her. Like the new Spider-man, Ben 10, Byakugan, and many others. But then are ones like Spongebob Squarepants...that has got to be one of the dumbest cartoons I've ever seen. Kids learn things from everything the see, and there not going to learn anything good or useful from a cartoon like that.
I know..I know...there probably not supposed to learn anything lol It's just a cartoon. But why shouldn't the makers of cartoons think about stuff like that when they make these cartoons. It's not like they don't know how many kids watch there shows, and most likely run around all day acting like Spongebob...or Patrick, driving their parents crazy all day.
I don't know, maybe I remember the cartoons I used to watch differently then what they were. But they seemed like they always had some kind of life lesson hidden away in them. Well..cept maybe Bugs Bunny cartoons. Don't get me wrong, I love the cartoons. But it is a lot of senseless violence lol. With hitting each other with things, having things dropped on their heads, falling off cliffs, etc...Anyway, my point is, I wish writer's and animators of cartoons would put a bit more thought into what there putting on tv.
Now this is just my opinion, it's not as though I aspect people to agree with me. This is more to maybe give people something to talk about
